Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Aries Agencies.
I'm sitting on my porch today just on this cool,
but not super cold December day.
And I just want to wish you guys just a Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays.
And I just want to share a quick, just word of encouragement
as I'm sure some of you are traveling
or just opening presents with your family or loved ones.
And what a special moment it is.
And I just want to share out of Luke chapter two,
verse 11, just three thoughts as we celebrate Christmas
and just taking this holiday for all that it is
and this life that we have in Jesus.
But in chapter two, verse 11,
it's verses often connected to Christmases
and still tells the story of Jesus.
And these three points I want to take from this
is that when the birth of Jesus happened,
it was good news for all people.
That Jesus' birth was a sign of hope for so many.
And in this verse, in chapter two, verse 11 says,
for unto you is born this day.
In the city of David, a Savior who was Christ the Lord.
Jesus came and he was born and we are thankful
for the life that we have in him.
And when I think about his life,
the second thing I want to say is this entrance was humble.
We know that Jesus was born in a manger wrapped in clothes.
He was swallowing clothes just kind of meaning
just what was around.
He was born next to animals,
but he was going to literally change the world.
And I think that's a thing to remember
that his entrance was humble,
but his life spoke volumes.
And as believers in Jesus, we have that opportunity.
That's some of us come from humble beginnings,
some of us come from just unique situations.
But we have the opportunity to change the world
through Jesus and us that we can speak a life into people.
We can change our kids' lives and their kids' lives.
And it's about generations
and the impact that we can have
and what an amazing opportunity that we get
that Jesus has set the standard for us
and we get to follow it.
And so the third thing that I just want to just talk about
briefly is that don't get tired and overlook the gifts
when it comes.
Many times the best gifts often,
we can look past them or not fully even appreciate them.
And that goes to lots of different things.
I think about things that received us a kid,
but now it's an adult.
They have value because there's memories attached to them.
And there's certain things I just think about when I see them,
just because they were given to me by a certain person,
a special person.
And maybe that person isn't here on Earth now,
but that gives us special memories to me.
And so when you're going through your day,
when you're thinking about Christmas
and where you got to go and unwrapping presents
and all that kind of thing,
finding batteries, putting the toys,
don't get tired and overlook the ultimate gift
that you have blessing a family around you.
Even sometimes they might drive you crazy, right?
That happens.
But remember the good things in life.
Things that money can't buy,
the things that you can't just put a price on.
And the same thing with Jesus,
a life that we have in him,
you can't put a price on that, you can't.
Even just being to summarize it,
that we were sinners saved by grace and that Jesus,
that he was born and he would ultimately just change us forever.
And we are so thankful for what God has done
by sending his son.
So listen, as I send this portion,
share this thought on Christmas Day.
Love you all.
Appreciate you and what you're doing.
And it was great being with you all
at the awards ceremony.
And just seeing what God is doing through the agency,
what God is doing through each and every one of you.
I pray for blessed.
And I look forward just to connect with more of you
and just see what God does in 2023.
I believe truly the best is yet to come
and speak blessings over you and your families.
You have a wonderful day.
