Count money, man.
Money, man.
Stacked riches.
I'm trying to told him I'm a beast, but...
What's up, gang?
Welcome back to another episode of The Grindcast.
Get ready.
It's a new day.
And we're going to be talking about playing the long game.
You know, the long game, the real long-term success is in compounding things, just like money.
It's not this one explosion that happens.
It's focused growth.
It's compounding leadership.
It's exponential.
And so success compounds, you know, for us, looking at our business, are you building a team?
You know, it's one top producer at a time.
You know, you get that one top producer.
And then that starts to then lead to maybe they train another top producer.
And now you got two.
And then there's people over here watching what they're doing.
And they're thinking, man, I should be able to do the exact same thing.
And so now they're thinking elevates a little bit.
And it starts to grow everybody because of that.
And that's that compounding interest.
And so, you know, you look at...
I develop one person.
They develop one person.
Now we got three.
Me, the person I develop and the person they develop.
Now we got three.
If all three of us can develop another person, now we got six.
Six goes to 12.
12 goes to 24.
I know in our business you get to 24 people that are submitting business consistently.
And you're making really good levels of income.
Typically, you know, you're on your way to making a lot of times what doctors make.
You know, with 24, 25 people submitting business.
And so that's the power of, I think, so many people get frustrated
that they want to get to this 25 number so fast
that most of the time the reason why I think people don't get to the 25 number
is that they're not trying to commit to getting to three
or commit to getting to six.
And getting to six is harder than it is to get to 24 in my experience.
Because getting to six, now we turn into, I got three, four, five other people
that can multiply with me, that can lift the load with me,
versus in the beginning it's just me and one other person, or just me by myself.
And that it takes a lot of energy to just get myself to six, five, six people.
All right.
And so that's what I mean by the compounding aspect of it and thinking long term.
It's not 10 agents, 25 agents at one time.
It's one person that raises the lid of the next person, of the next person.
It's like popcorn, you know, when you start making a, making popcorn
and it starts with just one pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop.
You know, it's just that one pop first that we got to get going.
And then all of a sudden we got two, three pops going and then it all starts to pop.
And so compounding interest of doing the right thing over and over and over again,
playing that long game, developing yourself, the one hour at a time,
working with somebody one on one that might not change everything that week,
but it might start to change the game six months from today.
So we got to look at the long term game and put the work in
and stop being so short-sighted of we got to have it right now.
We got to have it in the next six months.
I got to have it in the next 90 days.
What can you do this week that's going to impact six months from today?
That's the way I need you to think is I'm going to make this investment into this person,
into the process this week that's going to impact six months from today.
Developing people right now, like we're in the month of March,
and so let's develop people right now so we can have a huge July, three months from today.
Or let's put the work in right now so we can crush it in October.
That's the mindset.
Let me invest into recruiting, invest the time, invest the money, invest the resources.
So in January of next year, we start to really do some special things.
That has to be the mindset.
Let me concentrate on the main goal of what is this one vision of this one thing that I got to lift.
I watch people get so scatterbrained that they want to be the jack of all trades
versus being focused on mastery.
I think what happened is somehow this thing got popular where they're saying
you got to have seven different streams of income or you got to have five different streams of income.
I haven't seen that be the way that you really make real wealth.
I think the way that you I've learned making real wealth, not to different strategy down the road,
but making original wealth is not being a jack of all trades,
is not having seven streams of income.
It's having one stream of income.
One thing that you go all in on, be in the best that you're craft on,
that you start to make a bunch of income and then that income over time.
You keep putting that income back into that one thing, back into that one thing, back into that one thing.
Until then, all right, now let's diversify a little bit.
Let's see if there's some other streams of income or something along those lines.
So focusing on that one thing,
there was a book out that I read that I liked and it's an easy read.
It's called The One Thing.
The question was, what one thing in your business that if you could only do one thing,
what one thing in your business or in your situation,
you could only do one thing and that was the only thing you could do.
You weren't allowed to pick five, just one thing.
What one thing do you think you could do that would impact your bottom line,
your business the most and create explosive growth and results?
So whatever that one thing is that you're identifying right now,
as I'm going through that, that's where I want you to have your tunnel vision on.
Lock into that one thing and think about how can we lock in on that one thing,
double down, triple down on that one thing that's going to take us to the next level.
Because in consistency comes from a lack of long-term vision
and the understanding of what things are going to lead to that long-term vision.
So if I want to be more consistent, I know what the vision is out there.
I know where I want to be 12 months from today.
Now I got to go focus in on the one thing, two things,
couple small things that I could lock in on.
And then I'm always reminding myself of the reason why I'm doing these things
with an urgency into the process but patience, understanding that the result may come
six months from today.
I think that's where the imbalance, that's where the imbalance sometimes comes from,
is people are urgent with the process but only until they realize the results aren't coming fast enough.
So now they lose the urgency.
And what you want to do is you want to be intense.
You want to bring intensity and urgency on a daily basis and weekly basis
to the things in the process that are going to make you better six months from today.
So we need a form of patience to believe in the long-term gain
but in patience, in energy and passion that says I'm attacking all these things today right now
like it's the last day that I have, that's the like it's the last opportunity.
That level of intensity and urgency but understanding that I'm willing to show up consistently
and do this for 12 months straight.
I think a lot of you listening out there, if you just locked in for 12 months straight on the process
and not get married to the results, don't get emotional up and down, up and down on the results of I did great
or I didn't do great or I made sales, I didn't or this person quit this person.
If you just committed to, here's the things that I'm going to do,
on a daily basis, on a weekly basis that's going to get me to where I want to go
and just attack it the best you can every day.
And a part of that attack has to be the biggest attack and war that you have to win is the war within.
And you can't age out.
You can't become 40, 50, 60 and say, all right, I'm grown enough.
I'm big enough. I don't need to work on myself anymore.
I don't need to work on my mindset, my body, my spirit anymore. I already know it all.
You know, I forget who said that. You know, when you realize, when you think that you know it all, you don't know anything.
And when you realize that you don't know much is when you start to get married.
And when you realize that you don't know much is when you start to actually know something,
when you start to actually grow and learn, is that humble spirit of, I'm not good enough.
I know my spirit can get better. I know my mind can get better. I know physically I can work on myself.
And so if you invest into yourself first, and then the process second,
with a form of patience, for 12 months, with discipline and consistency, you'll be unrecognizable is what I would bet on more often than not.
And so let's encourage one another out here to play the long game.
Let the leadership compound. Let your focus compound. And that's going to turn into growth.
If you guys wouldn't mind doing us a favor over here, if you think this found, if you found any value in this,
