The new day
What's up gang welcome to another episode of the grind cast in this already starting we already started out with a laugh
Because we got all this massive man over here next to me big peak
What's up everybody in the house?
Podcast was going on brother glad to have you on here. Thanks for having me man. Come on awesome
So so we could you know start out some of y'all do knows maybe some of you guys don't know but
Big perm is is one of my
oldest childhood friends
Like he got pictures of me in my diapers
Absolutely, but you're not for sale if you want them call me, you know, you would too
Always 100,000 maybe
Let me let me start out with what would introduce and you know kind of everybody to you through just casual conversation
So why don't we start off tell people you know where you where you grew up and and what the lifestyle was like
You know when when we were around each other. Yeah. Yeah. Well I grew up here youngstano high old air street
my whole life
We call it brick city. That's where the only street around the east side is still bricks
So we call it brick city. We I came up in a
Pretty pretty bad day, you know the main with with a lot of violence, you know
drugs, you know stuff like that, but but
We just you know, we're blessed to be what we're here at right now
When I was I think I
13
14 started doing a couple things that wasn't you know
Well, we should be doing but at the time. That's what we had to do because you know, they weren't paying nothing
You know, I'm saying minimum wage was $4
You know, I'm saying how could we
Provide some guys and and get some nice clothes with $4 you know, I'm saying we can't do that
So that's the things that we did speaking of gas. You know, I remember
You know us you were the first one to have a car. Yeah, you were the one to drove. Yep, and we would all pitch in
You know like we would come up with I think a dollar or two dollar dollar piece a dollar a dollar or two and that would get us
That would get us around we go to the mall and you would have the you know, I think one of my
Cool memories is you had this
purple
purplish pink
Parisian with the chain with the chain steering with us and the back seat
Removed
Never it didn't stop us from sitting in the back seat
We would pile in any way that we could get in where you fit in and
Man, I swear you know, I think you had the loudest system
That I knew of I mean I could hear you coming from from blocks away. Yeah, you know what I mean literally and so I think you know
I would come over your place and in your house and we would sit and it was so much action
Going on you know back in in the summer, you know when it gets hot everything got hot, you know, we could get everything out there from
music
amps
speakers
sweepers
Television's toasters. Yeah, I think I bought all of those
On the on the street over there and even to the point where I know that you know as a young we don't have to get too deep into it
But I know as a young as a young person
You witnessed many
Shootouts and
Murders, you know and and I think you were even at one point we're on a stand
Talking about a possible
Situation that you saw at a young age, you know 1314 years old. So what when did you know it was time to?
kind of leave that
Life alone, you know that leave leave the hood so to speak well I left when I was 19 I
knew
A lot of things man, you know, we talked about the prison which we did had a pink parisian
You know, we used to bang no back seat. We wrote deep, you know what I'm saying?
We was at the civil dollar having a ball, you know a lot of us
The car on these posts are set four or five. We had probably 12, you know the main how do we do that?
Don't know you just kept it moving never got pulled over, you know what I mean?
but
Took from from leaving there
You know, I just realized that I thought there was a better life for me
Oh, you know the mean because all of my friends and all of my people was just
It was just a lot of things happening to them, you know the mean and I felt like I had a conversation one day when when I was leaving
I was leaving jail and I was walking home and
A cop came to my porch and sat down and just said you know, I don't know what you're doing. I don't know, you know
You know if you kind of want this life, but if you look up the street everyone's getting ready to doing bad things
And you seem like a great kid great guy, you know
You need to do what's better for you and try to do you know move forward and right then in there
I just I took that to Eden. I
I decided to just move because if I didn't move who would have known what would have happened
You know the mean so I moved for the better. So that's why I moved from young son, but the young son is one of the best days of my life
You know the mean I've had the best days of my life in young son with all my friends you you know me like I said you know
Never kind of grew taller still the same site the same height apologize same site same height kind of looks like the same
You know the mean but yeah, man. It's it's gonna amazing being here man
You know, I know the one thing I wanted to do was
Test the stability
In the sturdiness of these chairs here, you know in case before we had any other guests and one thing is for sure
That these chairs are
Officially a hundred percent stable and secure for anybody that wants to come on the show
I appreciate that because we tested it out right now. We about about four five hundred bills and we're good here
And it's good good. I feel great good to go. I feel good. What would you say is?
Your best memory of this is what we've been doing yeah
20-some yeah almost 30 years. Oh, yeah, it's cutting big and small joke. Yeah, big e-small
Tim but Simone
In a book boom. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so what's what's
What's what's some memories man that come up to you of us growing up positive and negative positive good in
Good and not so good
positive
You're always you you you for for some reason I don't know why but you were the center of attention
Everyone loved you that's for sure for certain everyone
Everyone gravitated towards you. I don't know what you've always smelled good
I think that was probably the thing you just smelled great
The the the the the good times we had man
Riding around like he always talks about this grand am purple with the chandelier music in the back
You know that type of stuff I
Enjoyed life with you guys, you know, I mean we we have a bond that's that that can never be broken
You know, I mean and and and and you know like the bad for you like I'm gonna say you just never got big
I don't maybe you didn't eat too many weedies like me because I always kept it big but I'm getting smaller now, you know, I'm saying or
Went from a 5x to a 4x I appreciate that you said that live on there on there. Thank you guys
Everybody knows that from a 5 to a 4 I'm doing good guys. I'm doing a wonderful. Thank you. Appreciate that boss
Two X you go from big perm to medium
It's going to be on sand
Come on. Yeah, I think you know what recently unfortunately, I know you know, I had a chance to come see your family at
You know, it's good to see everybody, but not for you know, good reason your grandmother passed away
And I got to see your mom and some of your family and it just sparked my
Just a reminder, you know of how special I think your mom is and and
My mom and you know Giovanni's mom just you know a lot of us grew up without having a father in our life
Right, you know, and you know, you got to meet mine, you know, and I met him at 28, you know, 27 28 years old
And I but we didn't have that you know growing up. So, you know, you know, you had what four brothers four brothers
Ernie but you know Adam and me
You know, so four four kids told yeah, four boys so three brothers. Yeah, four boys three brothers four boys
So his mom had four boys. Yep
on the east side of youngstown east side, bro, and
You know, I think all the y'all are great people man, you know good people that ain't easy
You know, I mean that ain't easy. What what do you and where you grew up?
You know, I grew up on the east side too, but on a separate right over to on the other side
You know, it was a five minute bike ride. Yeah, you know to your house
But where you grew up was like the hot zone the street was the the hottest street in that area at one point and
Literally, how did you you know, what do you think your mom did to try to keep everybody?
You know straight, you know, you got these boys, you know a couple big-ass boys, man
It's unbelievable to watch your mom, you know, she's cute
You know she went about four four to eleven, you know the man I don't know how something is
I know something like that, but you know, she's able to she was able to do it do a good job, man
I see see some of you guys doing well Ernie's doing well
You know, what do you think stands out that she did in the middle of not having to turn the money?
Having four boys in the middle of the war zone, you know
When I feel like that area in youngstown was at its hottest, you know
Anything that you see that she did
that maybe
You're still here today because you know many a lot of people we yeah around any here. No, I think I think I
She was really about family and trying to you know trying to keep a good heart in us
And not trying to look forward to going towards the other side because you know and in that time you can always go wrong or right and
We always my mom and my great we our whole family lived on the street. So, you know was my mother
Like four houses up from my aunt my aunt was four houses down my other arm was four houses down my grandmother
So it was like six of us on one street
I could never do nothing wrong because she would my grandmother caught me my aunt caught me
I mean, but they were all watching us so I think that there helped us become and put us in the right direction
Versus going towards a wrong way and love, you know what I mean my grandmother showed us so much love
You know you couldn't come in that house without you know
We say Benny's young that means you know how are you doing? You know I'm saying it and we coming that house without saying that
It was a problem and I think being like that and being family oriented and having our whole family on that street
I think helped me and our family go towards the right because all my family is in church and you know
That's what they do and they helped us go the right route, you know the means so I think that was that was huge for us
Having a whole family on the whole street. So that was huge
We was so close to the fire
Yeah, you know, it's like I look back on things and and
You know I'll go as far as you want to go, you know on this thing, you know, but you know I just
I remember being in in situations that I look back on now and I'm like I don't even know how I'm still here
Right, I don't know how you know I remember you know
One of us, you know
Problem is when you got a lot of people that you're close to you know
We used to we we create our own little gang. Yeah, you know there wasn't really we weren't a game
We were but we weren't right right we just we just it just created that and so you are you got 10 20 30 people
You cool with now you got 10 20 30 people that can have a problem and now everybody's supposed to support that right situation
and you know outside of you know me being in
Juvenile, you know making consistent stops at
JJC, you know, I think I think how you doing? I think how you know, I think back to moments where you know
I'm in a situation where
Somebody got robbed were at the house at midnight
With guns looking for people, you know the main and and
Me you've been robbed a gunpoint. Yes, I've been robbed a gunpoint. It's not a good feeling before yeah, and
it's just
You know almost everybody
That we roll with coming up, you know, there was
guns involved, you know
You were it was just normal and I was telling me and you were talking to like man
I look back on some of the things we were doing and as good of a job as your mom was doing and my mom was doing the best job
They could possibly do
I mean we was bad you know straight up and but young's town was so bad at the time that
Our bad wasn't even that bad compares to what other cats was doing right what other people was
All right, you saw a little bit of dope got a gun you pistol up somebody that's no big deal
You're fine. Hey, hey, don't worry about that. You know, he's not that bad. What if he's gone that's all good?
You did great, man, you should go you know, so did you ever think that?
You know, you look back on that, you know
I know we're blessed to be here
Did you ever think that we would be in this position? You know right now like where we would go through the airport and and
You get frisk 95% of the time by TSA you know, I mean you have the highest
Closing ratio, I think with walking through TSA anybody that watches it follows when we travel everybody knows the first thing
I do when I get through the line is I hurry up and get my phone and I start taping and
We we 90 plus percent of the time you end up with the pat down. Yeah, you end up with the right
Spread them. Yeah, you want me to do this here? Do you want me to go somewhere else?
You know, you're gonna go ahead and do it right here
But you found out that how does it feel to get pat it down all the time at the airport?
Well, we well we found out and and and and and and me traveling with mr. Aries that
It's definitely not randomly. It's not random. It's not a random check because it's cons it's consistent
So right now I'm at 99 what night
90% over this leave me not not not an attempt. I'm always there is no way that you are picking me out of a line
Randomly every time but I do appreciate it though because you do I mean you're making me huge on a look a little
God I'm me right I mean he's up to something
What are you doing here could it be the beard? I don't I don't know, but it's definitely something man
He enjoys it. He likes to just laugh at me like he's laughing now. That's my favorite my favorite thing to do
That's what we do. I love it man. So a couple questions for you
You know
You being in in in this type of business and you you're working hard and and you know
Who motivates you
To do what you do?
You know like who who gives you the strength to to because you motivate you move mountains so so so
Who does that for you? Man? I got a lot of places that I pull motivation a lot
first is is is
God you know
I feel like I pull a lot of my inspiration and motivation from just my spirit being connected with with the Lord and
Because I noted I'm playing with house money, you know
I just I just know I shouldn't really be here. There's people that did less and they're not here and
I feel like I owe so much to God
To others to use some of the gifts that I that I've been given so you know that that inspires me
I'm inspired by
TD Jakes and I listen to TD Jakes Steven Fertic inspires me John Maxwell inspires me Jim Trussell inspires me to be a better man
And a better person
Jim Sarace my my first mentor that that kind of got my mind and my spirit right Marcus
Smith has been there for me, you know the throughout the whole process of this thing
But I'm motivated by my family, you know, I'm motivated by my wife
My kids my mom. I'm motivated by the kids that inspire minds, you know that you know because that ain't easy
You know that that's a lot of work and every time I go and see those kids
It inspires my mind and it inspires me
Having my friends in this business, you know you and Giovanni and and others people that I know are relying on me
to
Elevate this place and to have success so we all can do better that inspires me that motivates me
having people's lives in my hands looking at you know
People in our business that have their own children their own wives, you know all of that motivates me and
And inspires me man, so I you know I I haven't had that question in a long time and so I didn't realize I had so many places that I pull
Motivation from because I could just you know I could keep going now. That's why I just wake up. Yeah fire boom
Boom, I love to watch you wake up to by the way at five fifteen you know what I'm your mat look excellent. Let's see here
Couple questions. Let me see here
When
Did you realize the young age that you had a way with words like when when did you know?
That that you knew that you can speak and people will listen to you like when did you you know
I think I learned to think fast when we used to rap. Yeah, I said that I just told this guy that and so much of it is and
You know when you see the way I dress and walk now
You know I remember the transition remember the transition. Oh, yes, I started to have some success in business
Yes, and you were coming to visit me. Yes, and I had to break the news
Yes, you did you said man listen man
Spare it with me just come to the room. I got to wear these pants you tight pants now
He's tight tight pants. He didn't say that
I got to let you know he said listen man. Just I started wearing tight pants tighter pants
He said I got to wear these tighter pants. I said all right
Well, let me see it because what we would do is all the time is you would get dressed and I would come and see
And I would kind of like approve it like yo that's dope. We good, you know what I mean or bruh that ain't gonna work
So but you did well, well keep going sir. Yeah
Who was we even talking about pants the pack yeah, you came we came to Cleveland. Oh, you were
Transition. Yeah, so you were asking me, you know, we're
You know, we were talking about I think I started to learn how to speak
Like that how to think on my toes just from we were always rapping at a young age
Yeah, I think that helped
And then I think I got I got blessed with being in a
Rough environment, you know, I really I grew up on the east side. I went stood in welfare lines with my mom and my goofy plasm
But then she would drop me off in Camor my grandmother's to watch me
When she would go to work and then my grandmother and my grandfather and my mother and everybody would pitch in
To try to get me in a better school system
So they end up sending me to Ursula which was a Catholic school in in in youngstown for high school and
I think having that balance of which I hated my first year. I didn't want to go to Ursula
Yeah, that was like why I want to go to East. I know
Why are you doing this to me right right and she was like either I'm moving you completely out of here right because you're a menace right or
Or you're going Ursula. Yeah, and as much as I hated it
It gave me the perfect balance because I already knew how to function in the streets
I already knew how to talk. I knew the it's a whole different language. I knew how to function there
Well then I learned and I also learned how to
empathize and relate to people that if you unless you're on the inside and you've been there
You just think all these people are just trash, you know, they're just a piece of shit
Everybody did just unless you come up in it and get it is hard to get it
So I understand why people don't get it because I wouldn't have been able to get it if I wasn't in it
Right, you know what I mean? But it gave me that perspective and then I also
Went to Ursula and then it started to give me another perspective and I started to learn I had to
Try to fit in and function a little bit with those type of families and you know people with that
Act different talk different dress different, you know and and stuff like that
So I think that you know, I learned how to talk and and shake it up and switch it up for being in so many different
Environments, but I think I learned how to hustle at a young age and that did have transferable skills
In the business, you know, I think you guys, you know, you I don't know which one of you are Freddie
I don't know who nicknamed me when I was young, but you know
Everyone yeah, yeah, we we said yeah, well the nickname for him was little luchi
Everyone wants to know because we knew
He was always had a bread. You know I said that's the money, you know the mean that's he was always we knew it
You know the mean you always had a nice Jerry Kerr when he was young too. Yeah
Kick it case I didn't know that that about him. You know, I think I you know one of the things that that that
Paid off I think I remember my mom for Christmas. She would always take us she would take me to
Canfield to see the nice houses because we didn't we didn't decorate the house. We didn't have any
You know nobody really decorated and and she took me to get off they had been gone
Like to go. I'm sorry cars gone everything's gone. I think our car got stolen out of the driveway
Three times the the
We drove to Canfield and she would take me
in the
Nice homes and I would look at these homes and I'm like damn
What the hell did these people do? I want one of these, you know, and I started to get that ambition of like
You know and and you know thank God I bumped into American income and Jim Saracen and
Legit because you know that that that that that
50 cent came out with it was get richer die trying yeah
Like I think that was the mode I was on I was like
Where are you they're gonna get richer? I'm a die trying. That's right. You know, that's right and
I didn't die you didn't die. I mean so
I'm glad I went the other direction
What else you got for me?
You been on a lot of things man. I'm so so I mean with being you know
Because you know we all say that me and you were where we were mom were we baby mom were mom was boys, you know what I mean
When did you know like your mom?
How tough was your mom on you when you were young like how how did she do it for you like because you were a
Firecracker, you know what I mean? So how does he get you to calm down and and and what did you take from that because you are I mean you
You know, I think I think she just she was relentless with
caring
Love not giving up on me and at parts of my life where I felt like a kamikaze where you know there was points where I just I feel like the only
Percentage of me that gave us shit was because I didn't want something to happen to me for her
That's right, you know to me. I just I knew she couldn't bear it. So I didn't want to put that on her, but in my mind I
Didn't I didn't care as much, you know what I mean? I just I just wanted to I was down for I was ready to gamble whatever you know
I mean I was cool with whatever the consequence, but then I just I would think of her and
It would it would keep me from that last
Extra percentage of what probably would have put me over over the top
So I think you know that sticks out the most you know she was hard on me for sure
But it's only so hard. I think a woman could be on a man. You know what I mean like
Yep hard, but not hard enough like I needed I needed a NAS weapon. Yeah, you know what I mean?
I needed I needed a male in my life
Like that that would be able to and I got you know, I got
People's parents that looked out for me. I got my grandfather was in my life and but but different you know I
I
Plan sports save me you know plan plan football remember my eighth grade year
Was the year that I said I was gonna retire from playing sports
So and I loved it. I was good at it. I loved it and I remember I was at my grandmother's house and my my
Grandma's husband who became
Who I considered my grandfather? He said nah, we're going I'm signing you you're playing football. You don't have an option
And I needed that you know to me like I respected him. I didn't want to you know, he was tough
You know you put on the boxing shows so it was hard nose and like all right
He's done a lot for me. He's like not your plan. You don't have an option. It's the first time I seen a mad at me
Like you're playing so he drops me off to coach Rowland Smith who was
You know somebody that would
oversee
the juvenile justice center and
Years later I actually was locked up in juvenile where coach Smith would come let me out of myself and and try to talk to me
But that was my coach. That was it. So he drops me off to him as a freshman
eighth grade going into you know that summer and
Man, I changed me that that that that's that saved me
You know, I still wasn't good right by any means right in high school
But it kept me busy it kept me focused on something and you know
Ultimately, we ended up winning a state championship and it would send me to college and I would get out of that environment
Completely which I needed right, you know as bad as I wanted to play at youngstown state
It was better that I didn't play at youngstown state because I
Would have been caught up in the same old stuff, you know
so me getting outside and and going to Mercyhurst and playing football there
I think was a game changer and they got me around other influences again
Another chance for me because there's a difference between
youngstown
people, you know in the suburbs
They're still from youngstown. That's right
They still from youngstown and and and then me getting out of there and I meet friends that grew up on a farm
And you know all this type of stuff
So again, it gave me an opportunity to meet people and learn how to function in an environment that I knew nothing about
Which would end up helping me and making me more well-rounded in business to where I could you know
Take somebody that grew up in inner city or I could take somebody grew up in the country and understand them both and connect with them
Them both because I was able to walk in so many different people's shoes
You know, I think that was that was that was probably a big big part of the transition into having success
For sure, man
Definitely where where we came from and what you worked hard for I mean from from being in in college
You didn't know when the deal was gonna be right at you you just knew when you left college
You you didn't know what you were gonna do you just so so take us a little bit back then so when you left college
What did you like what was it you just I'm a mountain you just yeah, I was Trent
You know, I I got an interview the last couple months with the company that I'm with now and that was
15 years ago almost and
I
knew when I met the person you know that the good thing is when you grow up fast you get a sense of how to read people
and
When I met Marcus Smith who did my interview I
knew that he was real, you know, they say real recognize real I knew that he was real and
I knew that he was
Doing what he said he was doing and and and that and was having a lot of success and I could relate to him
You know, I think people are first attracted to the person before they're attracted to the company
And so I was attracted to the vibe of of Marcus first. So I said I don't want to come out and
work with Marcus and
Marcus will tell the story on how I first came in to the office
I mean you could just tell that I had
left you know, I had experience in
Hustling by the car that I pulled up in in the way that I pulled up and Marcus tells it all the time and
It's
That's that saved me because
And I'm being real my mind was so much and and you know and I think people know now my heart has changed
I've matured you can't tie me to what I felt like a 20 years old right with no with no upbringing
You know to guide me like that to somebody that's 36 years old now, right, but at that time I
Wanted to make money. I just wanted to frickin make money. I was tired of being I didn't want to be broke anymore
So I was
literally at a point where coming out of college not much was going to change.
I was getting ready to do the same things that I was always accustomed to doing.
And when I found American income and I found Marcus and that culture, it first changed
me because I was able to make a good income my first year.
And you know, I made over six figures my first year, 22 years old.
And then I started to get turned on to growing my spirit.
You know, Jim Sarace was a youth pastor.
So he started to work with me a little bit on my spirit, which is why you see me work
with other people on their spirit.
And I was so adamant about it because it frickin' changed my life.
And then Marcus, you know, was somebody that I could relate to, connect to him like,
man, this dude's driving rain drovers, making a ton of money, got tattoos, but he's
listening to Tupac and he goes to church.
I'm like, this is, I can do this.
You know what I mean?
Like I used to think there was this separation of, okay, either you had to be completely
dorky in my eyes or you had to be completely on the other end, wiling out.
There was no, like, all right, I can still listen to Pock and still go to church.
So, okay, you know what I mean?
I could still have a hoodie on and in some tennis shoes and still be in business.
You know what I'm sorry.
We gotta say, it's how fast it is.
Where does that star buzz come from?
As long as GameCab are out of like that.
Pugh!
Go ahead.
Like that.
So, that's how the transition happened.
You know, Perm, and that's all I've done.
And that's what I've done my whole life.
And then with this company, we've ended up opening up other businesses and other things.
And, you know, I wanted to make sure that, you know, you could talk about this.
You know there was a period of time where I didn't see you or talk to you for a couple
of years.
I didn't talk to Giovanni.
I talked to him for a couple of years.
And it was just that separation.
And I just had to cut myself off from the world to get my mind completely right.
Because I liked it too much.
I liked us to freak black mouths.
I liked to, you know, do things.
And I had to just work and engulf myself and entrench myself with being obsessed with
being successful.
But in always in the back of my mind, part of my motivation was, I'm gonna make it.
And when I make it to the point where I feel comfortable enough where I know that I really
made it and I can, then I can grab my dudes and if they're willing to work and they're
willing to do something, then we can all be together.
Right.
Right.
Right.
And that's why we're able to spend time.
I don't just spend time.
We spend time and we're grinding.
Right, we're grinding.
What's it like when we hit the road?
Oh, man.
I mean, why don't you talk about that?
Oh, man.
Jesus Christ.
For work and business.
What is it like?
It's a lot, man.
You know, I always say this.
I always tell you this.
I say, man, people don't know exactly what you do.
Like, you know, when you say you're up at 5 a.m., and you don't see it.
I see it because I'm with them all day.
When you're hitting the gym and you're coming, we have to change in less than three minutes
to be at a certain place at a certain time.
We're flying from here.
It's a job.
It is a job.
We're traveling from, we did Greenville in one day, 24 hours.
We did it.
Oh, yeah.
South Carolina.
Yeah.
24 hours.
And was back at it the next day.
Like, not even happy.
Didn't even miss a beat.
So yeah, it is, it is a grind to be out there with Mr. Aries.
I appreciate that, man.
You know what I mean?
Going back to your school at Erson, I probably know why you didn't want to go there because
you couldn't wear them nice clothes.
You have to be a certain one, certain fit.
And we know how much you like to dress seven days a week.
You know what I'm saying?
Eight days a week.
So yeah, man.
It's a grunt, man.
I understood why you had to, you know, at first I didn't know when you, when you left
and why you didn't call or, or, or, or, or, or Danis, Katyn, never got time or, you
know, the main he, he was like, you know, you know, I didn't realize that how much work
and how much, and, and how much, what you needed to do to get yourself right in order
to, to help anybody else.
So you have to help yourself take care of yourself first to take care of body, anybody
who you want to.
I realized that at the time of being in this business with you is crazy.
Like you, you are a animal.
You are nonstop.
You are in this game.
You are our eight and our 24.
You are our Kobe in this game.
You know what I mean?
Rest in peace, Kobe.
That is what you are in this game.
And I see it, man.
And I appreciate you, dog.
I appreciate you too.
You know what I'm saying?
You know, I think when, when we're out doing it, it's like it means more to me that
y'all get to be a part of it and see it happening.
You know what I mean?
Because it's hard to really appreciate what's really going on unless you know what went
on.
You know what I mean?
Absolutely.
And you can appreciate it.
But when I look at you or when I look at your, when we look at each other, it's like,
man, holy shit.
It's a long way.
Is this the same life?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
How did this even happen?
How?
You know what I mean?
And so we get to share those moments of like, it was all a dream.
It was all a dream, man.
You know what I mean?
It was all a dream.
That's why every time that I'm blessed to grace the stage and get recognized for the
company on behalf of the people that I lead, I always come out to it was all a dream.
Yep.
All the time.
Juicy.
You know, because that summarizes it all.
It's hard for me to listen to the whole thing without getting choked up.
Still, I can't, it's hard to get through it because it says it all.
I mean, just, it, that, there it is.
There it is.
I mean, there it is.
That's it.
And so I think just to be here with you and and and Giovanni and people that I came up
with, you know, the just is special, you know, to me.
And the best is yet to come.
The best is yet to come.
Lord, Lord willing, you know, we ain't promised tomorrow.
And, you know, just, but just Lord willing, man, there's, we're at the very worst of times.
This is the bottom.
This is as bad as it's going to get.
Last of the drips.
We're, we're getting ready to go to, we're getting ready to go to a whole, now the level.
And you know it, you know, I talked to you about it all the time.
This is getting ready to, everything is getting ready to double.
Everything is getting ready.
Everything is getting ready to double.
And we're just going to help and bless so many people.
And, and you know, I want to let you know that the people that you've impacted, man,
I saw one of the kids and one of the ladies from Inspire Mines actually was at your grandmother
I preached.
Yes, that was amazing.
And they got something coming, you know, for you.
You know, that's how much love the people already have for you and your heart and the impact
that you're making that the kids know, you know, the people in the program know it's, it's
life familiar.
You know, this is, this is family dog.
And I just, I appreciate you.
And I'm excited about, can I get a commitment on air life?
Oh no.
Can I get a commitment?
No, what is it, man?
He's trying to, you know, what?
You've been dating.
Oh.
Okay.
You've been with, pressure, you've been with pressures.
I see you, I, precious, you've been with precious.
We all grew up together.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
For what, 24 years, 25, 25 years.
You moved in when she was 17, 17.
And since she was a beautiful 12.
Beautiful.
Don't date that 12, but since 12.
Yeah.
And so I think this year we were trying to plan out just making it official.
It's already your, your wife mentally, invariably and all of that.
But yeah, we, we, are we getting this thing done this year?
What?
Yes, we're, yeah, we're trying to get this marriage done.
Yes.
And I get a commitment.
That is commitment.
We're trying to get this done here.
Yeah.
For sure.
I love you, bro.
I love watching you be a dad.
Thank you.
You're a great father.
Thank you.
You are too.
You're a great man.
To, to precious.
And I appreciate having you around.
You know, at first, I didn't know what I was going to do with you.
You know, it's like, I just want to, you know, we don't know if we can put him anywhere.
You don't know if we could be with a family cause.
We have to fly in the air.
We go ahead.
We have to, we have first class now.
I don't know.
What are we going to do, man?
I don't know.
Go ahead.
I don't know what we're going to do, man.
Something like, but here's where we're going to do.
Here's where we're not going to do.
You're not going to be on the street.
Yeah, we ain't going to be, we're going to figure this out.
Right.
You come over here and we start out, you're making juices to help that adds value.
Keeps healthy.
Then you've verified the deals.
Then you start taking care of me.
When we travel, we got a system now.
Yeah, it's a system.
Driving, making sure I ain't recintecting, you know, all of that stuff.
And then I get a free, you know, I get a free bodyguard.
You know, this is, you know, the, not only do I get a companion,
people think you're, you're my bodyguard.
That's why we can't be going too much further down on the excess.
For X to the three X to X.
That's it.
We got to go back up to fight.
No, you know, I'm all about you getting healthy.
I know that, bro.
People are like, man, I'm like, yeah, I just, you know, he been my dude.
He been big his whole life.
My whole life.
So I just got an extra bodyguard fit in there.
But I just, it's just great, man.
I appreciate you and I look forward to the future.
Yep.
And I'm glad that everybody got to be introduced to Jose Caldron.
Yep.
Big perm, big perm.
Big perm, a little luchy back at it.
Thanks for joining us on another episode of The Grind.
Get ready.
It's a new day.
Count money, man.
Money, money, that gritches.
Time's told, trying to told him I'm a beast, bud.
