Count money, man.
Money, man.
Stacked riches.
I'm trying to told him, I'm a beast, but...
What's up, gang?
Welcome back to another episode of The Grindcast.
Get ready.
It's a new day.
And if it was easy, you know to rest, right?
If it was easy, you know to rest.
It's supposed to be hard, right?
Because if it was easy, everybody would be doing it.
Whatever your goal is, whatever your dream is, whatever the big thing is that you're
going after, you got to remind yourself if it was easy to go to that level, then why
isn't everybody already at that level?
The reason is because it's hard.
And on that road, less travel, you're supposed to have moments of doubt.
You're going to have moments of doubt.
You're going to have...
You're supposed to have days where you don't want to do it.
You're supposed to have moments where you got to sacrifice things.
There's going to be things that you have to give up to go up and go to the next level.
And you got to hear me on this.
The minute that you get to the place where you say, I've already given up things to get
to where I am, that's where you stay or you go backwards because you don't get to go
to the next level without sacrificing to get to the next level.
That's just the way it goes.
So the minute that you're not willing to sacrifice anymore, you stay in that position
or you go backwards.
The road that you're supposed to challenge yourself and push yourself to your limits,
that's where growth is at.
That think about muscle growth.
You challenge yourself to where you're shaking, you're straining a little bit.
You don't think you could do much more, but you can.
And in those reps, that's where you grow.
And then there's growth.
You're supposed to have challenge to have change.
You're supposed to push your limits to go to the next level.
These things are the price that has to be paid to separate yourself from everybody else.
Stop being average and understand that to do anything worth doing, anything that's worth
what it is that you want in your life.
There's going to be these challenges and sacrifices and just stop trying to avoid it.
We say shortcuts get you cut short.
Stop searching for a shortcut or an easier path because it don't exist.
The easy path is doing the work.
Now, not just blindly, dumbly, just working hard.
You got to have some work smart, right?
You got to be doing the right thing.
Of course, I can't take away from that working smart.
Working smart is definitely important on the journey.
You got to work smart.
It's not only about working hard.
You're going to feel on the journey.
You're going to feel doubt.
You're going to have times where you feel a little bit of fear.
You're going to have times where your head is giving you all these excuses, but you show
up anyway.
Because the only way to beat the fear, to beat the doubt, to beat the excuses is to show
up.
You got to face them.
Face the bully.
Understand that all great things comes with a price.
They all come with a price.
That price has to be paid in order to get the life that you want.
In order to get the next level, you got to pay the price in advance.
You go to a vending machine.
I want water.
I want E2 or whatever it is.
You put the card in.
You put the money in.
Then you put what you want.
Then it spits out.
You have to pay the price first and then it spits out.
Learn to fall in love with the process.
The process is not called the party.
The process would be called the party if it didn't have the challenges, the sacrifices,
the discomfort, all those things in it.
We got to understand that's a part of getting what you want.
Because remember if it was easy, everybody would be doing it.
Let's not avoid the hard.
Let's stop thinking there's this easier way.
If there was the thing that we'd be looking for wouldn't be worth having because everybody
would have it.
Everything worth having comes at a price that is a little bit more of a challenge.
It's exclusive.
It's not something that everybody has.
You need to put a cause into that effect.
In order to have outcome, you got to have input.
Whatever we put into it, eventually we're going to get out of it.
But we can't get big out of it unless we put big into it.
This constant, like humans have this ongoing navigation that they're looking for an easier route.
And it doesn't do much for you.
It just, all it does is take your focus away from the thing that you're supposed to be doing right now,
which is doing the work.
It sucks away from the effort that you should be giving to an all-in approach of like,
yeah, I just got to do this work.
Stretching challenges, a little bit of difficulty, that's good for you.
It separates the people that are willing to commit and the people that are willing to
grow through it and learn through it from the people that are not.
When you get through those things that build you so much momentum, when you get to the other
side of those things that build you so much momentum and you can look yourself in the mirror
and say, I earned it.
I earned this one by sacrifice, by outlasting, outworking, outlasting, outsacrifice, and outgrinding.
It'll make that feeling inside.
You'll feel good when you get out of those moments.
Just like when you get done with a super hard workout.
How do you feel when you get through it?
You feel good.
Because difficulty is good.
Challenges are needed and necessary.
It's a part of the process and it separates you from other people that want the exact same thing
because if it was easy, everybody would be doing it.
If it was easy, it would be cheap and cheap, doesn't typically come with greatness.
We got to pay the price.
Use it to your advantage because those things make you more valuable when you can get through
and navigate those things and keep on going and keep on pushing because you got to remind yourself
consistently on this journey.
Believe me, I got to still to this day.
You're not hearing from a perfect person.
I've had these same thoughts that we all go through.
But the constant
winning voice in my mind has been, if it was easy,
everybody would be doing it.
You're going to thank yourself for sticking to it, not giving up.
In the face of these obstacles, adversity, setbacks, whatever it is, that's all a part of that
journey, doing the work, making the sacrifices. That's all a part of that journey.
And so what I want us to do this week is we break the huddle, celebrate your sacrifices.
Look at the things that you're giving up, that other people aren't giving up.
Look at the things that you're overcoming, that other people aren't overcoming.
Look at the things that you know that you've had to get through, that other people wouldn't have
gotten through. Look at those moments where you wanted to quit and you didn't give up the more of
those that you have over time, the closer that you get. All right. So I just want to encourage you
this week. Remind yourself, let's go out there, let's do the work. Let's make the sacrifices in.
Let's let's let's be consistent. Let's have a positive attitude.
And let's embrace and celebrate the journey together, which we know the journey has in itself.
Things that are in the way that won't be there for for a year, they won't be there for 10 years,
they won't be there for 20 years, there's just something in the way right now.
There's a reason for the season. This is the season and it's meant to grow you.
We got to get through it because if it was easy, everybody would be doing it.
Speaking of everybody doing it, we got to get everybody doing it. Would you mind if this message
or any of the messages help you? Could you share this message with other people that we can
impact out there? And as always, I'm so grateful for you for sharing some time with us in the
grindcast studio. Thanks for joining us on another episode of the grindcast. Get ready. It's a new day.
