Count money man, money that grits is fine.
I told trying to hold him on the beast.
But what's up gang?
Welcome to the grind cast.
Stop it, area is here.
Get ready.
It's a new day.
What's up gang?
Welcome to another episode of the grind cast.
Get ready.
It's a new day.
And we're going to switch it up a little bit and go back
old school.
We're going to just talk motivation.
Like what's going on in your life right now?
Where are you at?
Is it time to take it to the next level?
Do you feel like you've been maxing yourself out?
And let's see if we can't, if we can't give you a little shock,
a little, uh, and see if we can't get you going today.
So, you know, I think that, you know, when you start talking
motivation, most people lose motivation because they can't find
something big enough to bring themselves to do it.
So the first step is motivation.
Look at the word motivation.
And you'll see the word motive motive.
What is your motive?
And you could get caught up in hearing it all the time because I
know almost every speaker or motivational speaker will start
talking to you about finding your why.
But I really do think this is a good, a good place to start.
Is you have to figure out why?
What is the reason why you're doing what you're doing?
Is it something that's big enough to get you extremely motivated
and excited to do what it is that you are going to be called to do?
Because to do something big is going to require you to go through big
obstacles, big adversity, big grind, and you need to bring big
motivation to it.
So you have to look and see what is going to get me up?
What can I remind myself of every morning when I don't feel like
getting up or every afternoon when I'm getting a little tired?
Like what thing is going to elevate my game?
And so ask yourself and it could be depending on your age, background,
and your goals, it could be different things for different people.
For one set of group of people, it could be their their kids and their wife.
For another group of people, it could be their mom wanted to help
that want to help their mom out, help their parents out.
Another group of people could be to prove haters wrong and critics wrong.
Whatever it is, you got to find something big enough
that makes you emotional enough and passionate enough to get up and get
out there and do what it is that you need to do.
So once we get past the motivation aspect of it, you got to look at
like, how is first off?
How is my health?
If you're not healthy yourself, it's going to be hard for you to get
wealthy if you're not healthy.
And so are you taking time on a scale of one to 10?
Are you taking time out to take care of yourself in your health?
What foods are you eating?
Are you getting enough rest?
Are you getting enough sleep?
Are you exercising?
Are you drinking enough water?
And all these things may not seem like the path, but it has a lot to do with
the path because how can you keep up the pace?
How can you keep up the grind?
How can you keep up what it is that you're trying to do?
Staying on your A game all the time.
If you're not where you need to be physically with your health.
And so I want to encourage you to do what you need to do with your health.
Next thing is look at your relationships.
Relationships, it's, it's, is your relationships?
Are they nourishing or they toxic?
Does it drain you or does it build you up?
So you got to ask yourself, look right now are the relationships that I'm involved in?
Wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, friends that are that are around you?
Is it a toxic environment or is it a good positive environment?
Is it draining you or is it building you up?
Now, I know things can get complicated when you're talking about marriages and
and things that at nature.
But you need to first evaluate where you're at and are these relationships
helping you or hurting you.
Friends, this is easy.
If they're not helping you, get rid of them.
Sometimes your loyalty can, can hurt you and not help you if you're loyal to people
that are not trying to progress and move forward.
And they actually start to pull you down, whether it's on purpose or on accident.
It, it's draining of you.
People are either lifters or their leaners.
They're either leaning on you, weighing you down or they're lifting you up.
A healthy relationship goes both ways where both parties are lifting each other up,
helping each other in a mutual relationship.
Boyfriend, girlfriend, this is a real one here.
If, if you're on the grind, if you're on the hustle,
if you're trying to do something special and you got a big vision and you found out
that whatever your dream is, whatever the vision is, is going to take a lot of work
a lot of hours, a lot of grind, a lot of whatever.
And you don't get that support.
First off, try to get that support.
Introduce some of these people to your vision and where you're going.
But if it's someone you just kind of started getting involved in first year,
it's different when you're married 10 years.
But first year, dating, whatever, like I would just let those people go.
It's not going to help you.
It's not going to help you or I will set the tone up front right now of
this is where I'm headed.
If you're not headed in the right direction with me,
if you're not willing to support me on that direction, then maybe the timing is it right.
And we can meet up, you know, another time if, if, if karma or God or whatever the world has,
it will, we'll see where we're at 5, 10 years from today.
But maybe the timing is the right because right now I'm out here on the grind.
And that may seem harsh to you.
But I'm telling you, I could name a slew, a super professional people that are crushing it,
whether it's MMA, boxing, business, whatever it is that have had those same conversations
and take that same stance on life for people that they're dating.
Married, that's a little bit different.
If you ain't getting support or whatever, you got to look internally.
What's going on with you?
Have you been doing what you're supposed to be doing?
That's a whole nother complicated subject.
I'm not trying to even start counseling people on right now.
But either relationships are going to be helping you or hurting you.
Try to ex out as many relationships that you can that are hurting you.
And check your environment, you know, the culture that you're around, the house that you're in,
the people that you're around, the environment is so key.
Your environment, you start hearing about the environment, environmentalists here in the USA,
but the environment that you're in can make or break you.
I don't know.
I've seen some crazy statistic like 80% of Americans are unhappy with their lives, whatever that means.
A lot of it can have to do with the people that you're hanging around.
Misery loves company.
People are where they are for a reason.
You got to be careful who you're surrounding yourself with.
So here's some keys to developing the right mindset,
getting yourself moving in the right direction if you're in a rut and stuff.
So first thing is how do you react when when things are down?
Like when things aren't going your way, when life isn't giving you what you want,
how do you react so much of life is how we react?
I don't know if you've heard the term at, you know, 90% of life
is what happens to you or 10% of life is what happens to you.
90% of life is how you respond.
It's all about how you respond to these things.
Things are going to happen.
You don't see people that you admire that you're trying to emulate,
that you're trying to be like people that you're following that are living their dream.
If you look at their story, it ain't all been sunshine or rainbows.
If you talk to them, it ain't all been sunshine or rainbows.
They've had losses.
They've had setbacks.
They've had injuries.
They've had people doubt them.
They've had haters.
They've had relationship problems.
They've had illness.
They've had whatever.
They've, it's how do you react when, when things aren't going your way?
If you're somebody that can only get up and, and play and be positive and keep it moving,
when things are perfect around you, I got news for you.
You're probably not ready to be great because it's never going to be perfect.
It's never going to be perfect circumstances.
You got to get up and grind when it's raining, the same as you would if it was 80 degrees in sunny.
You got to grind when you're tired.
You got to grind when somebody passed away that you love.
You got to grind when you catch a cold.
How do you react when these things aren't going your way?
How do you, how do you get out of a rut?
Like, if you're down and we've all been there and you're in like a funk and you're in your inner rut,
how do you, how do you find a way to get out of that?
We have unlimited potential.
I feel as human beings.
I mean, it's just literally unlimited.
Every day you see a normal average person do supernatural things.
It's amazing things.
It's unbelievable to see what human beings are capable of doing.
The first place you got to start when you're in a rut to me, I mean, you guys know it's mind and spirit,
embody, mind and spirit, mind and spirit.
Listen to some motivation every day.
If you're not disciplined enough when you're in a rut to say, you know what I'm going to do?
Every day I'm going to start listening to some motivation.
How can you expect to change things when you're driving in the car, when you're getting ready in the morning,
when you're driving home, you could find the time.
No excuses of, I don't, I don't have time.
When you're down, maybe listen to some motivation.
Well, who do I listen to for motivation?
I could give you a few that I like to listen to.
TD Jakes, Stephen Fertig, once in a while, Eric Thomas, less brown.
Find people out there that inspire you, that motivate you, and YouTube is available.
I mean, YouTube is, you could just get on YouTube and start typing in motivation.
But feed yourself, feed your mind, because if you don't feed your mind and you're in a rut,
you let your mind just wander anywhere down the road.
It's going to be in a negative place.
It's not going to be in a positive place.
The only way you go from rut to positive, rut to strut, is intentionally.
It has to be intentional.
You're not just going to pop out of it and snap out of it and wake up out of it.
It's a daily intentional, all right, let me start inputting the positive things into my mind,
and positive things into my spirit.
Exercise in which your body, fitness, studies are all over the place when what happens,
what endorphins go off, and what happens with your health in your mind when you're exercising.
So if you're in a rut, you got to get your body rocking.
Exercise a little bit.
Deposit positive things into your mind.
Prayer, church, scripture, something to help yourself spiritually, whatever spiritually gets you going.
And the best way to prevent those ruts is to stay on that mind body and spirit.
The first, it's like the first 20 minutes to 60 minutes of your day is what dictates the rest of your day.
So if you're one of those people that they just get up in the morning,
late as they possibly can, if the meeting starts at 9, you get up at 8.15 and just rush to the meeting at 9 o'clock.
Your day is most likely not going to start off in a positive way.
And so then it starts this circle of negativity and stress in your life,
and you can't perform the way that you need to perform when all of that is going on.
So it all started with how you woke up.
What did I choose to do when I woke up?
What time did I choose to wake up?
Like for me, I found that extra 20, 30 minutes of sleep.
Don't help me as much as getting my butt up and getting my spirit taken care of
and getting my mind taken care of first thing in the morning.
Now, take time to attend seminars, events, read more, get exposed to people that have what you want.
Get around them. Always find a way to continue to develop yourself.
What's the best asset that you have?
What everybody wants to know? What should I invest into?
Crypto it is, crypto that housing market real estate is the gold, invest into you.
There's no better investment than in making an investment into yourself.
We'll buy beer, but we won't buy books.
We'll take time out to watch movies, but we won't take time out to watch motivational YouTube clips
or whatever that'll help you.
What kind of settlement have you made with your life?
Are you just settling in a relationship?
Are you just living together?
Are you dying together in your relationships right now?
We got to aim for greatness in all aspects.
Like you just kind of dying together or you living together.
You got to develop that health plan that I was talking to you about and stick to it.
You can't be healthy if you ain't healthy.
You got to make sure that you develop a health plan.
What is your self-growth plan?
If I ask you right now, what would you answer?
If I've met you somewhere randomly and I said, what is your self-growth plan right now?
What would you say?
That dictates a lot.
We got to live life with energy and passion.
Have you seen
what it's like to be around people that are just a
lethargic?
How's it going today? Oh, that's good, guys.
Same old shit.
It's another day.
Those people ain't great to be around. You got to live life with passion.
We got to live life with energy and enthusiasm.
That's what makes stuff happen.
If you don't know what else to do, how five?
Get excited. Have some energy. Have some passion.
Monitor your inner conversations with yourself and take charge.
So many of us lose the inner conversation battle, the mental battle inside.
What are your thoughts?
What are you saying to yourself?
It's not about what those people are saying about you out there.
It's what you're saying to yourself in here.
Take charge of those conversations.
You dictate the mental conversations that you have.
Learn to stand up to yourself for yourself.
Like that's it.
I ain't talking no more negativity.
I ain't thinking no more negativity.
I ain't hanging around these type of people no more.
I ain't having these negative thoughts going like stand up to yourself.
If you need to put yourself in check, block out the negativity, insert positive,
encouraging self-talk.
Start watching the words that you speak.
Are you giving yourself life or death with the words that you speak?
Feel good today.
We're going to make it happen today.
Today's going to be great.
Feel great.
I'm excited for next year.
What are the words that you're speaking to yourself?
Negative people don't say, oh, that's just positive bullshit.
It's just, you know, blah, blah, blah.
That gives you a negative life.
There's so much power in your words.
If you're a believer, if you're a Christian, you'll see the only way that we,
we got light when there was first light.
As God said, let there be light when he spoke said let there be light.
Boom.
We got light.
It all started with the spoken word.
Your words are powerful.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
It says in scripture and proverbs.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
Are you giving yourself life or are you killing yourself slowly with your tongue?
With the inner conversations that you're having with yourself.
You know, I saw an old ancient Chinese proverb that was out there.
It's if there's no enemy within the enemy out there can do us no harm.
If there's no enemy within the enemy out there can do us no harm.
What makes you happy?
What will make you happy?
What do you, what do you truly, truly, truly want in your life?
How will you know when you got it?
Put on paper.
What you're grateful for once in a while, gratitude, attitude, a gratitude.
There's power in writing things down.
Write your goals down.
What do you want to accomplish this week?
What do you want to accomplish the next few months?
What do you want to accomplish next year?
What are your goals?
Ask yourself right now.
We just listening to listening to listen or we just are we listening to implement
and take our life to the next level.
When's the last time you took a pen and a paper and you wrote your goals down?
Don't just listen to listen.
Answer the questions to yourself.
When is the last time that I sat down and I wrote out my goals?
What do I want to accomplish next year?
Write down the action plan like how do I plan on accomplishing those things?
But first, write the goal down.
Goals have deadlines.
Goals have action steps, action plans.
Vision is different.
Vision, you don't always have to have the exact plan right now.
I want to have 100 million.
I want to have a billion.
I want to have a jet.
I want to have 10 youth programs.
I want to change the world, whatever, whatever the vision is, keep your eye on it.
Stay pushing for it.
You don't necessarily have to have the exact plan.
That's the vision.
But the goal you need to have a plan for it.
We got to set some goals, write them down.
It start going to work on those things.
It's you versus you.
You've been beating you more than anybody else been beating you.
I promise you, you know I'm like, you know I'm right.
You know I'm not lying.
You've been beating you more than anybody else is beating you.
If you're listening to this right now, it shows that you already got something inside of you
that you want to do more.
You're taking time out to invest into yourself to want to do more.
To want to go to the next level.
Don't beat yourself.
Don't lose those inner conversations.
Put the work into developing yourself.
Positive mindset, positive speaking to yourself.
My body and spirit putting that work in every day, kicking out negative people from your life.
Having tough conversations with people that are having or pulling you down.
And let's get it, let's get it rocking.
Let's get it cracking in here.
Thank you guys for tuning into another episode of the grindcast.
Get ready.
It's a new day.
Count money, man.
Money that grits is fine.
Time's told.
Trying to told him I'm a beast.
